Memorandum of Understanding signed between ICAR-CIFRI and CSB-CSRTI for Utilization and diversification of silkworm pupae products for fish feed.

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore and CSB-Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore signed memorandum of understanding for research proposal on “Utilization and diversification of silkworm pupae products for human & animal consumption and composting” on 8 December 2020. The MOU was signed by Dr. B. K. Das, Director on behalf of ICAR-CIFRI and DR. Pankaj Tewary, Director on behalf of CSB-CSRTI.

Under this collaborative project, ICAR-CIFRI work on formulation and development of fish feed from silkworm pupae and their testing, trials and validation.
